Job Description

Overview Aquaracers Swim Club is seeking enthusiastic, water-safety-focused swim instructors to join our Learn to Swim program. Our structured six-level curriculum teaches swimmers of all ages the fundamentals of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, with an emphasis on water safety and building lifelong confidence in the water. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling across weekday afternoons and weekends. Pay Pay ranges from:
$20-40 an hour depending on experience and certifications Experience Prior swim instruction or competitive swimming experience Comfortable working with young children and beginner swimmers Strong communication skills Responsibilities Instruct swimmers in Levels 1-6 of our Learn to Swim curriculum, adapting teaching methods to each student's skill level and age group Teach and reinforce proper technique across all four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly Incorporate water safety principles into every lesson, including entries, exits, floating, and emergency awareness Monitor student progress and communicate development updates to parents or guardians Maintain a safe, encouraging, and structured pool environment at all times Assist with lesson planning, student evaluations, and level advancement assessments Reliable availability on weekday afternoons and/or weekends Join us to make waves in the community!
