ABOUT US A NEWLY OPENING BASEBALL FACILITY IN SOUTH JERSEY.
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Baseball Instructor or youth travel baseball coach, where your passion for sports and dedication to youth development will inspire aspiring athletes to reach their full potential. In this energetic role, you will lead engaging baseball training sessions, foster teamwork, and promote a positive sporting environment. Your expertise will help cultivate fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and confidence among participants of all ages and skill levels. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact through sports coaching and physical education. Duties Design and deliver comprehensive baseball training programs tailored to various age groups and skill levels Lead practice drills focusing on batting, pitching, fielding, and game strategies to improve technical skills Foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and adherence to health guidelines Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding participant development and behavior management Coordinate with other sports instructors to integrate cross-training activities such as soccer or basketball when appropriate Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching, team leadership, or physical education instruction Demonstrated knowledge of baseball techniques, rules, and gameplay strategies Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings Certifications in First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required; AED operation knowledge preferred Ability to manage behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment Relevant background in sports-specific training instruction Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for sports meets your talent for teaching!
