You will assist in training athletes, organizing practices, and creating an inspiring environment where students can thrive both physically and personally. Duties Support the head coach in planning and executing engaging volleyball practices that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Assist with game-day preparations, including setting up drills, managing equipment, and providing on-court guidance to players. Help monitor athlete behavior, promote positive conduct, and implement behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful team environment. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff to relay team updates, schedule changes, and performance feedback. Support the recruitment and onboarding of new athletes by fostering enthusiasm for volleyball and encouraging participation among diverse student groups. Experience Prior experience working with Volleyball club teams is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of volleyball techniques and team leadership skills gained through sports coaching experience or playing at a competitive level. Background in sports-specific training instruction or coaching certifications related to volleyball or other team sports such as soccer or basketball. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to foster discipline and teamwork among young athletes. Strong communication skills for effective client (player and parent) engagement and team coordination.
