Position:
Head Softball Coach at RHS
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED; licensed instructor preferred
  • Valid New Mexico Coaching licensure or eligibility
  • Attain NMAA Coaching Certifications
  • Must demonstrate willingness to work in a cooperative working environment
  • Strong reading, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Preference given to certified staff
  • CDL is preferred, or willing to obtain CDL Responsibilities
  • Ensures responsibility for all matters pertaining to the organization and administration of the coaching of the team under his/her direction.
  • Enforces all rules of the state and national association as they pertain to track.
  • Cooperates with the administration, athletic coordinator/director, fellow coaches and students to promote the best interests of the entire athletic program.
  • Teaches advanced skills and strategies in track.
  • Combines the abilities of individual students into a team effort with the focus on enthusiastic competition in the spirit of fair play, good sportsmanship and friendship.
  • Works productively as part of a team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
