Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic fitness team as a Personal Trainer & Small Group Personal Training Coach , where your passion for health and wellness will inspire clients to achieve their best selves! In this energetic role, you'll deliver personalized training sessions and engaging group classes that motivate, educate, and empower individuals of all fitness levels. Your expertise will help clients improve their strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall well-being while fostering a positive and supportive environment. Duties Design and deliver customized personal training programs tailored to each client's goals, fitness level, and health considerations. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure clients perform movements safely using biomechanics principles and body mechanics knowledge. Motivate clients during workouts by providing positive reinforcement, coaching techniques, and motivational fitness coaching strategies. Conduct assessments of clients' anatomy, physiology, and movement patterns to develop effective program designs. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times by practicing manual handling skills, first aid readiness, CPR/AED operation, and adhering to health club standards. Maintain excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their progress, answering questions, and promoting fitness industry services. Qualifications Proven experience in personal training or group fitness instruction within a health club or gym environment. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation is required; additional certifications in First Aid are preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics, and exercise science principles. Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and effectively while ensuring client safety through proper manual handling techniques. Excellent communication skills with a focus on client motivation and fitness customer service. Familiarity with health club operations including program design, coaching techniques, sales skills for promoting services, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
