Position Overview:

The Croton-Harmon Athletics Department is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic JV Boys Volleyball Head Coach for the upcoming Fall 2026 season. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive, development-focused environment for student-athletes.

Reports to:

Director of Health, Wellness, Physical Education and Athletics Stipend:

$4,878 for the Fall 2026 Athletic Season as outlined by Section 1 Responsibilities include: Planning and leading all practices, contests, and team activities. Teaching fundamental baseball skills, strategy, and sportsmanship. Overseeing the safety and supervision of all student-athletes. Collaborating with the Varsity Baseball Head Coach to support program alignment and athlete development. Communicating regularly with athletes, families, and the athletic department. Ensuring compliance with all CHUFSD, Section 1, and

NYSPHSAA

policies.

Requirements:

Prior playing or coaching experience in volleyball preferred. NYS coaching certification or ability to obtain required credentials.
