Summary As a Greeter at Penguin City Swim, you will be the first point of contact for our students and their families. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth experience as they arrive for lessons. Your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will contribute significantly to our school's positive environment. Responsibilities Greet students and their families warmly as they arrive at the facility. Provide information about classes, schedules, and instructors to prospective students. Assist with check-in procedures and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed. Maintain a clean and organized reception area and facility to enhance the customer experience. Communicate to Operations Manager when issues arise at the facility including issues with cleanliness. Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Support sales efforts by promoting upcoming classes and special events. Address any questions or concerns from students or parents promptly. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred. Strong communication skills with an ability to engage with diverse audiences. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our community. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
