Job Description

Job Overview KidsUnited is a soccer center for early development. Our unique training method is intended to develop physical, personal, intellectual abilities and social skills of children from 1.5 to 10 years old. Kids United not only teaches children how to play soccer, it acts as an early development system, using soccer as the main educational and delivery tool. We're seeking a Head Coach to lead our program and coaching staff. The Head Coach is an outgoing, goal-oriented, welcoming, and engaging leader. The role requires someone who is interested in child development, coaching youth soccer classes, developing coaches , curriculum delivery, and customer service. Applicants should have a passion for working with children, prior management experience, and an outgoing personality to engage with families and create an exciting culture. Previous experience in athletics, coaching and working with children is a must. This full-time role requires flexibility (including evenings and weekends. The Head Coach will supervise all coaches and work closely with the Club Manager and Director of Coaches.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach up to 25 Classes a week
  • Recruit and coach a team of highly motivated and energized coaches
  • Set clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable for results. Quality control to optimize the class experience
  • Foster a culture of service, excellence, and enthusiasm—everyone on the team should exude the KidsUnited culture
  • Ensure classes are performed optimally with an energetic and engaging atmosphere
  • Be the face of your club
  • All staff and families should see you as a leader who fosters the KidsUnited culture in everything they do. Be very friendly and highly engaging
  • Ensure every class is held to the highest standard and coaches perform above and beyond expectations.
  • Address parent concerns, manage feedback, and continuously improve the customer journey.
  • Manage coaches schedule. And making sure all classes have two coaches scheduled

  • Soccer background
  • Any personal or professional experience with soccer is a must.
  • Coaching
  • Prior experience in soccer coaching is a must, ideally 1.5
  • 9 years old
  • Early childhood education
  • experience working with children ages 1.5
  • 9 years old is a must
  • Prior management experience is a plus!
