Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Sports Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, fitness, sports, and working with younger children. This role involves engaging with students of ages 2-5 years old, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in various multi-sport activities, ensuring safety, and encouraging motor skill development.
PLEASE NOTE
We travel to preschools across Central Nassau County. You must be willing to travel to these schools. This is a P/T role. Responsibilities Teach and lead classes in various physical activities and multi-sport. Implement the curriculum during each class you teach. Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Provide support to students to enhance their motor skills and confidence. Maintain equipment in good condition while reporting any issues as necessary. Experience Previous experience in instructing or coaching sports is preferred but not required. Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
