Professional Position Summary:
SUNY Plattsburgh's department of Athletics & Recreation seeks qualified candidates to serve in part-time assistant coaching positions for the following sports; baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, men's soccer, women's soccer, softball, and women's volleyball. The successful candidates will assist each sport's head coach in all aspects of managing a successful athletic program to include recruiting, game preparation, practice planning, and other duties as assigned. The department of Athletics & Recreation subscribes to the philosophy that athletics complements the total education experience of our students. We allow multiple ways for students to compete or participate in a variety of quality athletic programs consistent with the overall educational mission of SUNY Plattsburgh. We are part of the Enrollment and Student Success division which supports a student's entire collegiate experience from the point of admission through to graduation. We partner with students, faculty and staff to provide a network of opportunities and services that lead to student success.
