Boxing Coach

Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Boxing Coach and inspire athletes of all ages and skill levels to reach their full potential! In this energetic role, you'll lead engaging boxing training sessions, develop personalized workout plans, and foster a motivating environment that encourages growth, discipline, and confidence. Whether working with beginners or seasoned fighters, your expertise will help clients achieve their fitness goals while promoting safety and sportsmanship. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact through sports coaching and physical education. Duties Design and deliver comprehensive boxing training programs tailored to individual needs and skill levels Lead group and one-on-one coaching sessions, emphasizing proper technique, conditioning, and safety protocols Monitor participants' progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust training plans accordingly Ensure all safety procedures are followed, including AED operation and first aid response when necessary Foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and respect among athletes Communicate effectively with clients about their goals, progress, and any concerns to enhance their experience Support the development of sports-specific skills such as footwork, punching accuracy, defense tactics, and stamina Requirements Proven experience in boxing coaching or martial arts instruction with a strong understanding of boxing techniques Lifeguard experience or background in swimming is a plus for versatile physical education skills Experience working with children or adolescents in sports or educational settings Knowledge of sports team leadership, behavior management, and coaching best practices Certification in first aid and CPR; AED operation certification preferred Background in sports-specific training instruction such as karate, basketball, soccer coaching or cheerleading is advantageous Excellent communication skills for client engagement and team collaboration Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation, and professionalism in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in health club or gym settings is desirable for understanding fitness facility operations Join us to empower individuals through the art of boxing!
