THE POSITION
Hawken School is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Coach for Girls Varsity Field Hockey for the 2026 season. Hawken is a traditional regional power with a strong base of committed athletes and coaches. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the game of field hockey, fitness and training regiments appropriate for high school girls, as well as a commitment to the mission-aligned philosophy of a positive environment and fair play. Candidates should be dynamic, energetic, and motivated, and possess a willingness to commit the required time.
Salary:
$3,000-$4,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience playing and coaching field hockey is desired. Must hold or be willing to acquire valid Pupil Activity Permit and associated certifications.
