Job Description
This position assists the Head Coach in managing, executing, and leading all administrative and athletic functions of a competitive collegiate sports program. This role is responsible for setting and maintaining team rules and expectations, coaching and developing student-athletes, and driving recruiting efforts from initial outreach through campus visits. Additionally, the Assistant Head Coach coordinates team travel logistics, conducts film analysis and opponent scouting, and manages program-specific content creation to enhance alumni engagement and promote both the team and Denison University.
Responsibilities:
Coaching and Player Development- Coordinate all aspects of either defense or offense and assist the Head Coach with practice planning, player development, and system implementation.
- Coordinate the recruiting process in alignment with the goals, philosophy, and guidance of the Head Coach. Opponent Scouting
- Coordinate and assemble all scouting reports and game preparation materials and provide final quality control. Social Media Coordinator
- Create and execute the program's annual social media calendar.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree 5+ Years of playing experiencePreferred Qualifications:
