Job Description
Head Women's Wrestling Coach Position Purpose The Head Women's Wrestling Coach position will work directly with the Hiram College Women's Wrestling program on all facets of the day-to-day operations of a collegiate women's wrestling program in compliance with Hiram College, PAC, and NCAA policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities and Duties Conduct and be responsible for practice, competition planning and implementation Recruiting and retention of student-athletes to the women's wrestling program Assist with the strength and conditioning program for women's wrestling Responsible for the women's wrestling team budget Responsible for all funding raising initiatives for the Hiram College women's wrestling program Do athletic laundry in sport season Other duties as assigned, to possibly include, but not be limited to other sport event management during the off-season Work the Day with Hiram Golf Outing Skills & Knowledge Strong working knowledge of women's wrestling Ability to teach skills and strategy of women's wrestling Working knowledge of strength and conditioning relative to women's wrestling Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented office environment and interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the public. Microsoft Word Excel Experience with Front Rush Proficient with all forms of social media Experience Previous college women's wrestling and/or coaching experience preferred Experience recruiting college athletes preferred Education Bachelor's Degree required, Masters Degree preferred Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
