High School Assistant Softball Coach Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio - 4.3 Independence, OH Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Full Job Description Independence Local Schools in Cuyahoga County is seeking an Assistant Softball Coach for Independence High School. Previous coaching experience is preferred but not required. Must be organized, hard-working, and demonstrate a strong desire to help build the high school softball program. The High School Assistant Softball Coach will help oversee all phases of the softball program, including player development, youth involvement, and program culture. The successful candidate will provide leadership to the team that consistently achieves academic and athletic success. The candidate will help monitor academic progress, develop training programs that are safe and effective for student-athletes, and schedule meets and practices in accordance with school policies. Employment is pursuant upon appropriate background checks and the obtainment of proper CPR, Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Management Training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Pupil Activity Supervision Licensure from the Ohio Department of Education.
