Job Description
Club Ohio Soccer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2011 in Dublin, Ohio, offering a structured soccer experience for players ages 3 to 20 at all skill levels. The club serves more than 1,200 youth players across Dublin, Dayton, Gahanna/Reynoldsburg, Lewis Center and Marietta, providing year-round training and competition. Club Ohio emphasizes high-quality coaching, player development, and a positive learning environment. The organization also hosts four major youth tournaments over five weekends each year, welcoming over 26,000 players and 1,200 teams from multiple U.S. states and Canada. Coaches joining Club Ohio become part of a well-established program with strong community ties and competitive opportunities. Role Description The Girls Youth Soccer Coach is a part-time, on-site role based in Lewis Center, OH, responsible for coaching and developing female youth players in designated age groups. Day-to-day tasks include planning and leading training sessions, organizing game-day lineups and tactics, and providing individual and team feedback to support technical, tactical, physical, and mental development. The coach will communicate regularly with players, families, and club staff, ensure adherence to club standards and safety protocols, and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with player evaluations, attending club meetings, supporting tournaments and camps, and collaborating with other coaches to align with Club Ohio's player development philosophy. Qualifications Strong soccer coaching skills, including session planning, player development, and knowledge of modern soccer methodologies. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with youth players, families, and club staff. Background in football/soccer and education, with the ability to teach fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Demonstrated coaching experience with youth teams or academies; prior work with girls' programs is beneficial. Relevant coaching licenses or certifications (e.g., USSF, United Soccer Coaches) or a strong commitment to obtain them. Ability to manage a safe, organized training environment and uphold club policies and child safeguarding standards. Availability for evenings, weekends, and tournament events as required by the competitive calendar. Background check eligibility and authorization to work in the United States.
