Job Description:

The Assistant Coach of Men's Rowing will be expected to assist the head rowing coach in the organization and management of the highly competitive IRA men's rowing program at Marietta College. Essential Functions of the

Position:

Teaching and coaching student athletes for successful competitions. Leading varsity 8's and assisting as necessary with other boat categories. Supporting student-athlete's academic success. Counseling and Advisement for Student-Athletes. Act as the recruitment coordinator. Recruiting prospective students. Fundraising and community engagement. Developing alumni and parent relations. Administrative tasks.

Requirements:

Required Experience & Education:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a related field to physical education and/or athletic administration. Certified in CPR/AED. Must successfully complete a background check for criminal, sexual, and driving offenses.
