This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster a love for physical activity in early learners while ensuring their safety and enjoyment. As a vital part of our 918 team, you will create a fun, energetic environment that encourages children to explore movement, learn new skills, and build positive habits that last a lifetime. Responsibilities Supervise children during class activities, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols. Foster a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages participation, confidence, and teamwork among young learners. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized gym environment, regularly inspecting equipment for safety and functionality. Support the development of behavior management strategies to promote respectful and focused participation. Skills Proven experience working with children in sports or physical education settings, with a strong understanding of child development principles. Background in sports-specific training instruction such as gymnastics, martial arts (karate, judo), or cheerleading is highly desirable. Demonstrated team leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for engaging children and parents alike.
