Job Description Coaching Before this contract is binding the coach must pass a Background check and fingerprinting NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises, and the mutual agreements set forth below, the parties agree as follows:
Coaching Position and Duties :
The Coach agrees to be the "Head Coach" of the Team and to perform all of the duties and services necessary and normally associated with that position, including, without limitation, the following: Safeschools, NFHS Certifications, fingerprinting, background checks, CPR and AED Certified. Follow all Covid protocols per current RSSL guidelines.Practices :
The Coach agrees to conduct practices and clinics during the term of this The number, duration and content of those practices and clinics will be determined by the Coach in the best interests of the Team. Communicating viaREMIND APP
with parents and player's schedules and times of practices and matches/games.Games and Tournaments:
In the absence of a personal emergency, the Coach agrees to attend and coach all of the league games scheduled by ECS for the team, either as originally scheduled by ECS or as rescheduled from time to time and all of the games scheduled for the Team in tournaments sanctioned by ECS and/orTravel:
The Coach agrees to travel\ with the Team to games and tournaments for which travel is necessary or They will remain with the team for the entirety of the event/trip. Supervision and planning are up to the coach and AD Training and The Coach must attend all meetings, training seminars & clinics required by OSAA, the Mountain West League and ECS. Must include a parent/athlete meeting prior to season with rules and expectations of the coaching staff. The coach is to ride the bus with the team to all matches.Term or Contract:
This Contract is for one season only. Conduct and Compliance. During the Term of this Contract, the Coach must: Use his or her best efforts to promote and maintain the success and reputation of ECS, and set, promote, and enforce (by his or her individual example and otherwise) the highest standards of leadership, fair play, and good sportsmanship by ECS players and coaches. Compliance . Comply with all of the rules and regulations of ECS. The coach agrees to abide by the ECS and OSAA Code of Conduct and portray the expectation, to players and parents that they also abide by the Code of Reporting . Promptly report, to the Athletic Director, on all issues problems that arise with respect to the Coach's conduct or compliance or with the conduct or compliance of the Team or any individual member of the Team or parent of a I am a mandatory reporter and will adhere to mandatory reporting laws. Equipment and All equipment and materials (including uniforms) must be returned to ECS, as soon as possible after the end of the season. A proper check out system of gear/uniforms must be established and turned into the AD prior to the first match/game. Fundraisers and expenditures of funds must follow school policy and procedures. AD will evaluate each coach at the conclusion of each season Pay is based off the current stipend salary schedule.
