Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in swimming and teaching, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swim instruction, ensuring safety in the water, and fostering a positive learning environment. Duties Conduct swim lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels. Assess students' swimming abilities and tailor instruction accordingly. Implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students' skills and confidence in the water. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and regulations. Provide feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement. Maintain a clean and organized pool area, ensuring all equipment is in good condition. Collaborate with other instructors to develop engaging lesson plans and activities. Requirements Previous experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard preferred but no needed. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Ability to manage behavior effectively within a group setting. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
