Seasonal/Stipend Position Position Summary Nazareth Prep seeks a dedicated, enthusiastic, and mission-driven Head Girls Flag Football Coach to lead and develop our Girls Flag Football program. The Head Coach is responsible for creating a positive, competitive, and supportive environment that promotes athletic excellence, academic achievement, leadership, sportsmanship, and personal growth. The successful candidate will embrace Nazareth Prep's mission of educating the whole student by developing young women of character, integrity, respect, and service while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Essential Responsibilities Organize, plan, and supervise all practices, games, and team activities. Teach the fundamental skills, strategies, and rules of girls' flag football while emphasizing player development. Develop practice plans that are organized, engaging, and appropriate for the skill level of student-athletes. Foster a team culture built on Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Sportsmanship, and Commitment . Encourage academic success by supporting the school's academic eligibility standards and monitoring student-athlete progress. Build meaningful relationships with student-athletes while promoting confidence, leadership, accountability, and teamwork. Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, student-athletes, school administration, faculty, officials, and opposing coaches. Recruit and retain student-athletes while promoting participation in the Girls Flag Football program. Maintain an accurate inventory of uniforms and equipment and ensure proper care of school property. Promote the safety and well-being of all student-athletes by following appropriate risk management and injury prevention practices. Collaborate with the Athletic Director regarding scheduling, transportation, equipment needs, and program development. Obtain and maintain all Pennsylvania-required background clearances and mandated reporter training. Promote good sportsmanship and ethical conduct consistent with the principles of education-based athletics. Support and enforce the Nazareth Prep Student-Athlete Handbook and Athletic Department policies Previous coaching or competitive playing experience in football or flag football preferred. Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, offensive and defensive concepts, and player development. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire high school student-athletes. Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Nazareth Prep Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required. Ability to actively demonstrate football skills and drills. Ability to stand, walk, and supervise practices and games for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry athletic equipment up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
