Job Description

Jewart's Gymnastics is a family business that opened in 1969. We offer preschool, recreational gymnastic and tumbling classes. In addition, we train boys, girls, rhythmic, T&T, and Xcel competitors. Our facility also offers a climbing wall, a low ropes course and walking trails on our 4.5 acre campus. Our girls team is 180 gymnasts strong! We strive to create a positive, fun and loving work environment. We are located 5.5 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Growth opportunities Casual work attire On-the-job training Lively atmosphere Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching and/or teaching gymnastics to students of various ages and skill levels or a former athlete interest in learning! This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive and safe learning environment, where students can develop their gymnastics skills while building confidence and teamwork. Duties Instruct gymnastics classes for students of different ages and skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed. Monitor student performance, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to enhance their abilities. Maintain a safe and organized training environment, ensuring all equipment is in good condition and appropriately used. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain discipline and focus during training sessions. Skills Previous experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines such as cheerleading or martial arts preferred, but not required. Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage students effectively while fostering a love for physical activity. Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable. Able to obtain background checks.
