MHS offers students a wide range of opportunities, including robust athletic programs supported by state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated coaches. MHS is seeking a Developmental 5th & 6th Grade Assistant Swim Coach for a one-year ancillary position at Middle School. In partnership with the head coach, the assistant coach will support student-athletes' skill development, athletic growth, and character development, helping them succeed both in their sport and in life. Practices are held between November and March two days per week (flexible) from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The stipend amount is based on experience and working the entire season.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of successful coaching experience, while also instilling high-quality character. Must have current knowledge of techniques, rules and regulations, and training theory of the sport. Ability to teach beginning and advanced skills. Demonstrated ability to lead & inspire diverse youth. Experience working with lower income students preferred. Ability to interact with student athletes at different skill levels in a positive and professional manner. Strong communication skills (verbal & written) are required. Demonstrated exceptional organizational and planning skills. Candidates must demonstrate high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for students. Apply NowBenefits
