Monthly stipend Key Responsibilities Juniata College, an NCAA Division III Institution, invites applications for a 12-month, full-time Assistant Men's Soccer Coach. This is a 12-month position that includes a monthly stipend, room, board and full benefits. Juniata is a co-educational, liberal arts college and highly regarded for its academic excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; assisting the Head Men's Soccer Coach with all operations of the men's soccer program, including but not limited to; recruiting, athlete and team development, practice planning, academic monitoring, team travel and meet management.Responsibilities:
Leading recruiting responsibilities: "Recruiting Coordinator" - communication with PSAs, database management, visit planning, and calendar scheduling.Coordinating travel arrangements:
meals, lodging, practices. Supporting all practice and match preparations. Conducting individual workouts and team skill development sessions. Contributing to scouting, game-day strategy, and in-game decision making. Assisting with summer camps, fundraising, and alumni engagement. Participating in departmental functions and committee work as needed. Supporting athletic operations and game-day management. Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director/Men's Soccer Coach. - One to Three years of collegiate coaching &/or playing experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of NCAA (and Landmark Conference) rules, regulations, and the Division III philosophy.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, recruit, manage, and contribute to a competitive college soccer program.
- Valid driver's license required, clear of major violations.
