Stipend Lead. Inspire. Build Champions. We're seeking a passionate and driven Head Wrestling Coach to lead our two-year college wrestling program. In this pivotal role, you'll mentor student-athletes, elevate their technical skills, instill sportsmanship, and develop strong character—on and off the mat.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Team Management Arrange season schedule and organize all practices. Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes, maintaining roster requirements. Oversee the duties and development of the Assistant Wrestling Coach and related staff. Conduct staff and team meetings as needed. Compliance and Safety Maintain compliance with all College policies, procedures, and NJCAA rules and regulations. Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification. Recruitment and Promotion Recruit student-athletes to participate in the program. Represent the College at athletic events, department meetings, and programs such as the Hall of Fame Banquet and Athletic Awards Ceremony. Operations and Administration Arrange travel, meals, and logistics for regular season, district, regional, and national competitions. Order and manage uniforms, equipment, and supplies. Manage the program budget, including submission of expenses. Record, track, and report team and individual statistics. Present awards at the annual Athletics Awards program (April). Other Responsibilities Interview and hire assistant coaches as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with academically qualified students from a diverse background. Prefer experiences in coaching for 3+ years at the college level. The team is part of Region 19 of the NJCAA playing other two-year college programs. CPR and First Aid certification preferred (required when hired)ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment and practice/game field and routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, and copier.Physical Demands:

Conditions may require walking, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, heavy lifting (less than or equal to 50 pounds), high climbing, bending, working in awkward positions handling equipment and materials. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone. There will be prolonged periods of walking and standing. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
