Part Time Youth Volleyball Coach Please note: This is a

coaching position. You do not need to be available every weekday or every Saturday. CAL Sports Academy is seeking dependable, positive, and energetic individuals to join our team as Part Time Youth Volleyball Coaches in Lansdale and Souderton, PA. This position is ideal for current or former volleyball players, college athletes, coaches, teachers, or others with a volleyball background who enjoy working with young athletes. We are looking for coaches who can consistently help with one or more weekday afternoons or evenings and/or Saturdays. Even if you are only available one day per week, we encourage you to apply. What matters most is being dependable and consistently available for the days and times you commit to. What You'll Do Coach youth volleyball classes and training sessions. Teach proper volleyball fundamentals, skills, and technique. Prepare and lead age appropriate drills using CAL Sports Academy's curriculum and coaching standards. Adjust instruction based on athletes' ages, experience, and skill levels. Keep athletes active, engaged, learning, and having a positive experience. Prepare the court and equipment before programs. Help athletes develop confidence, communication, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Communicate professionally and positively with athletes, parents, and CAL staff. Arrive prepared and on time for all accepted coaching assignments. Work independently when qualified to lead a program and alongside experienced CAL coaches when additional coaching development is needed. What We're Looking For Volleyball playing, coaching, or instructional experience. Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals and proper technique. An ability and willingness to teach and work with children and young athletes. Dependability and consistent attendance for accepted coaching assignments. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Professionalism and the ability to serve as a positive role model. Reliable transportation to assigned CAL Sports Academy locations. Willingness to learn CAL's curriculum and receive coaching and feedback. Previous formal coaching experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to develop the right person who has volleyball knowledge, connects well with young athletes, is eager to learn, and can be counted on to show up consistently. Schedule This is a flexible part time position with coaching opportunities available during weekday afternoons and evenings and on Saturdays. Candidates will have an opportunity to tell us exactly which days and times they can consistently coach. You do not need to be available every weekday or every Saturday. We are looking for coaches who can consistently honor the days and times they commit to. Depending on availability and program needs, a coach may work one day per week or multiple days. Compensation $18 to $30 per hour , based on volleyball experience, coaching experience, teaching ability, and level of responsibility. Candidates with limited or no formal coaching experience may begin in a developmental or assistant coaching role while learning CAL Sports Academy's curriculum and coaching standards. Experienced coaches who demonstrate the ability to independently teach and lead CAL programs may qualify for higher rates within the posted range. Requirements Coaches must complete and maintain CAL Sports Academy's required background clearances and training before working independently with athletes. Required clearances include applicable Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Pennsylvania Criminal History, and FBI background clearances . CPR and First Aid certification is required. Candidates who are not currently certified may still be considered if they are willing to complete the required training as part of CAL's onboarding process.
