Job Description

Be part of a team that values innovation, impact, and shared success. This is a .25 FTE 12-month. To assist management/hour load of strength/conditioning program. Report to the head strength and conditioning coach for specific assignments designated by the head coach. Adhere to all rules and regulations mandated by Shippensburg University, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Maintain required NCAA certification. Assist with coordinating, implementing, planning, and managing in-season and out-of-season player development and strength and conditioning including both team and individual programming. Attend team strength and conditioning sessions. Assist in coordinating and monitoring usage of Raider Athletics Performance Center. Assist with overseeing maintenance and cleanliness of Raider Athletics Performance Center including equipment. Annually, successfully complete First Aid and Safety and CPR certifications. Cooperate with athletic trainers to ensure student-athletes receive proper medical and physical training services. Ensure appropriate safety precautions are implemented and followed. Assist sports information staff with publicity efforts. Attend appropriate athletics department staff meetings. Perform other related duties as assigned.
