Basketball Full Job Description Girls Basketball Head Coach & Player Development Lead Organization:
International Basketball Academy (IBA)
Location:
Metro Atlanta, Georgia with some travel International Basketball Academy is seeking a head coach to help build and develop the girls division of our academy . This role combines team coaching, player development, recruiting, and relationship building. We are looking for an independent self-starter with strong leadership skills who can grow the program while developing young women on and off the court. Responsibilities Lead IBA girls teams through practices, games, and tournaments. Design and deliver player development sessions that improve skills, basketball IQ, confidence, and team play. Recruit athletes and build lasting relationships with players, families, schools, coaches, and programs throughout Georgia. Help shape the direction, culture, and growth of IBA's girls division. Evaluate players and provide clear, constructive feedback. Communicate consistently with families and IBA leadership. Mentor players in character, leadership, and their academic and basketball goals. Minimum qualifications At least four years of coaching experience with middle school and/or high school girls basketball teams . Strong connections within Georgia girls basketball and the ability to recruit. Proven ability to build relationships and develop players. Independent, self-starting leadership and strong organizational skills. Availability for practices, games, and team travel as required. IBA's mission is to develop players Beyond the Game. We are seeking a coach who can take ownership of the girls division's growth and create a positive, competitive experience for every athlete.
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
