Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Golf Coach to join our dynamic sports program. In this role, you will support the head coach in developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment. Your enthusiasm for sports and coaching, combined with excellent communication skills, will inspire athletes of all ages and skill levels to reach their full potential. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on coaching experience while contributing to a vibrant athletic community. Duties Assist in planning and delivering engaging golf training sessions tailored to different skill levels Support athletes during practice drills, competitions, and team events to ensure safety and optimal performance Help monitor player progress, provide constructive feedback, and motivate team members to improve their skills Collaborate with the coaching staff to develop training programs that incorporate sports-specific techniques and physical conditioning Maintain a safe environment by enforcing rules, managing behavior, and applying first aid or CPR when necessary Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and staff to promote team cohesion and address concerns promptly Support the organization of team logistics such as scheduling practices, tournaments, and equipment management Skills Prior experience in sports coaching or physical education instruction, preferably with golf or related sports. Strong communication skills for effective client (athlete and parent) interaction and team leadership Knowledge of sports safety protocols including AED operation, first aid, and CPR certification Experience working with children or youth in a coaching or childcare setting Demonstrated ability to teach physical skills through clear instruction and behavior management techniques Background in martial arts such as karate or judo is a plus for understanding discipline and focus training Familiarity with health club or gym environments enhances your ability to incorporate fitness routines into coaching sessions Join us if you're passionate about sports education, enjoy working with students of all ages, and thrive in an active environment.
