Job Summary
Direct and evaluate the learning experiences of students in both curricular and extracurricular activities and is responsible for the supervision of the entire Lacrosse program. Essential Duties
Coaching Responsibilities:
- 1. Work with the athletic director to establish a yearly budget for area of responsibility.
- 2. Ensure compliance with all Horry County policies concerning athletics.
- 3. Ensure compliance with all South Carolina High School League rules and regulations as well as region rules and regulations.
- 4. Discuss all problems with the athletic director.
- 5. Create an exciting and interesting program that will attract student athletes and increase student body and community spirit.
- 6. Create a program which will monitor grades and behavior of student athletes.
- 7. Work with the athletic director to hire all staff for the Lacrosse program.
- 8. Make sure all facilities in program are safe, clean, and well managed year round.
- 9. Create a system which will allow staff to grow in all phases of coaching to include pre
•and post-season conferences.
10. Communicate effectively to the parents and community the vision for the Lacrosse program.
11. Prepare yearly pre
•and post-season inventory sheets.
12. Work directly with the strength coach to establish in-season, out-of-season, and summer workout programs.
13. Work with college recruiters to place as many student athletes as possible.
Other Duties
Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Principal or other appropriate administrator that serve to promote the social and academic well-being of students.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required)
The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of successful coaching experience.
Communicate effectively through both verbal and written communication.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms; walk; sit; stoop or kneel; crouch or crawl. Individual should be able to hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone and, speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone.
