Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Golf Coach and play a vital role in inspiring and developing aspiring golfers of all ages and skill levels. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for sports, coaching expertise, and enthusiasm for working with children and young athletes. As an Assistant Golf Coach, you will support the head coach in delivering engaging training sessions, fostering a positive team environment, and promoting safety on the course. Your energetic approach will motivate students to improve their skills while ensuring a fun, inclusive, and safe experience for everyone involved. Duties Assist in planning and executing golf training sessions tailored to various skill levels, emphasizing proper technique and sportsmanship Support the head coach in managing daily team activities, including drills, practice routines, and game strategies Provide individualized coaching to help students develop their swing, putting, chipping, and overall golf skills Monitor safety protocols on the course, including proper equipment use and adherence to safety guidelines Engage with students to foster teamwork, positive behavior, and confidence through effective communication and encouragement Help organize tournaments, practice sessions, and special events that promote team spirit and skill development Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming activities Skills Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education, especially in golf or related sports such as soccer, basketball, or cheerleading Strong leadership abilities with a passion for working with children and youth athletes Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct students and liaise with parents or guardians Knowledge of golf fundamentals, sports-specific training techniques, and coaching best practices Ability to demonstrate safety procedures including AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), first aid, and CPR Experience working with diverse groups of children or students in a recreational or educational setting Familiarity with behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct during activities Background in martial arts such as karate or judo is a plus for understanding discipline and focus techniques Previous experience in sports team environments or health club settings is advantageous Enthusiasm for fostering teamwork, confidence-building exercises, and promoting healthy physical activity Join us to make a lasting impact on young athletes' lives while enjoying a vibrant work environment that values energy, dedication, and excellence!
