Department USD-Intercollegiate Athletics Physical Location of Position (City) Vermillion Posting Text The University of South Dakota Assistant Softball Coach - Pitching is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of managing a NCAA Division I softball program including but not limited to: recruitment, development and everyday training of all members of a pitching staff; assisting with training and development in other areas of team/players on and off the field; liaison for academics and other departments on campus; assisting with camp and clinics, and administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree required, master's preferred. Applicants must have knowledge of a collegiate softball program, preference given to those who have D1 experience. Preferred to have knowledge of Rapsodo, Synergy or other technology to assist in development. Candidates must have excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills. Must have the ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision and the flexibility to travel, work weekends and evenings when necessary.
