About King University Founded in 1867, King University is a comprehensive Christian university located in Bristol, Tennessee. King is dedicated to providing students with a rich and rigorous academic experience that integrates faith, learning, and service in a close-knit, student-centered community. King University is seeking applicants for a Part Time Women's Soccer Goalkeeper Coach position. The successful candidate will assist the Head Women's Soccer Coach with goalkeeper training and development throughout the fall championship segment.
Position Details:
This is a part time seasonal position primarily operating during the women's soccer competitive season.
Expected training hours include:
August:
8:00 AM - 9:30 AM training sessions September through
October:
5:00PM - 6:30 PM training sessions Occasional evening training sessions after 7:30 PM during
September and October Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of soccer and goalkeeper specific training principles, including technical development, shot stopping, distribution, footwork, and tactical understanding of the position. Strong communication skills and the ability to positively mentor collegiate student-athletes are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred, particularly as a goalkeeper or goalkeeper coach. Experience within NCAA environments and familiarity with Conference Carolinas preferred.
Responsibilities:
Conduct and assist with goalkeeper specific training sessions; assist with team training and match preparation; provide technical and tactical feedback to goalkeepers; support student-athlete development both on and off the field; assist with video breakdown and match analysis when needed; maintain compliance with all NCAA and university regulations; and complete additional duties assigned by the Head Women's Soccer Coach.
