REACH Swim Training is seeking a reliable, energetic Swim Instructor who loves working with children and can deliver structured, high‑quality lessons using our proven REACH teaching method. What You'll Do Teach safe, engaging swim lessons to children ages 3-12 using the REACH curriculum Provide one‑on‑one and small‑group instruction with patience, clarity, and consistency Communicate warmly and professionally with parents about progress, expectations, and scheduling Maintain a calm, encouraging presence with both students and families Ensure proper safety protocols are followed at all times Set up and break down equipment before and after lessons Track attendance and student progress Represent REACH Swim Lessons with professionalism at partner hotel or facility locations Report any safety concerns, maintenance issues, or incidents immediately What Makes This Job Awesome? Are upbeat, dependable, and great with kids Communicate clearly with parents Take safety seriously Enjoy helping children overcome fear and learning new skills Show up prepared, stay calm under pressure, and bring joy and structure to every lesson Qualifications At least 21 years of age Minimum 2 years of experience teaching one‑on‑one swim lessons At least one previous swim‑coaching certification (current or expired) Experience working with babies and students with special needs Strong communication skills with parents and families Strong swimming ability and confidence teaching in the water Experience working with children (coaching, teaching, babysitting, camps, etc.) Reliable transportation and punctuality Positive attitude, patience, and professionalism Ability to follow structured lesson plans CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain—REACH can assist) Lifeguard certification is a plus but not required Why Families Love Us REACH Swim Training is a parent‑centered, safety‑driven swim instruction program serving families across Tennessee and Louisiana.
