Swim Instructor

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Swim Instructor and inspire confidence, promote safety, and foster a love for water activities among learners of all ages! This energetic role is perfect for passionate individuals who have lifeguarded, learn to swim instruction, swim team coaching and working with children. As a vital part of our aquatic programs, you will deliver engaging swimming lessons, ensure safety protocols are followed, and help students achieve their personal goals in the water. Responsibilities Lead engaging and safe swimming lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment Conduct safety checks and enforce pool rules to ensure a secure setting for all participants Incorporate diverse activities such as water games, drills, and skill-building exercises to motivate learners Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide progress updates and encourage continued development Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and equipment before and after lessons Skills Background in learn to swim, survival swim instruction and or swim team coaching experience is a true bonus. Experience working with children or students in educational or childcare settings Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster respectful and focused learning environments Familiarity with health club or gym environments is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively instruct diverse groups and collaborate with colleagues Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for reinforcing learned survival swimming skills while also advancing additonal swimming skills Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where learners thrive!
