Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor 21+ to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming and related physical activities. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swim instruction to individuals of various ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Responsibilities
  • Conduct swim lessons for children and adults, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different skill levels.
  • Develop personalized lesson plans that focus on individual progress and goals.
  • Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a vigilant watch during lessons.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their swimming techniques.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, concerns, and recommendations. Requirements
  • Previous experience in swim instruction or related fields such as childcare, sports coaching, or physical education is preferred.
  • Skills in additional sports or activities such as Judo, Cheerleading, Karate, Martial Arts, Basketball, or Health Club training are highly desirable.
  • Certification in lifeguarding or first aid/CPR is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
