Job Description

```Assistant Coach Duties```
  • Assist the Program Director in managing daily operations and activities of the organization
  • Assist with implementing practice plans to enhance the overall experience for athletes
  • Collaborate with other coaches to coordinate practice and competition schedule
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all athletes
  • Serve as a role model for athletes and other coaches, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence ```Requirements```
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
  • Keep up to date all USAV required memberships each season
  • Experience working with young and inexperienced athletes in an educational or recreational setting
  • Knowledge or experience in Volleyball skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team including other coaches and the Director of the program
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A passion for coaching youth not just athletically but also helping them grow in their character and leadership skills
  • Childcare experience is preferred but not required
