Job Overview The Head Soccer Coach will lead the training and competitive development of multiple Aledo Soccer Club teams. This is a leadership role requiring a deep knowledge of the game, a strong commitment to player development, and the ability to effectively manage and motivate both players and assistant coaches. We are looking for coaches who not only understand the game technically and tactically but who are also strong communicators, role models, and team builders. Responsibilities Plan and lead high-quality training sessions Create a structured and challenging environment that promotes growth, sportsmanship, and teamwork Plan and lead game-day responsibilities including tactics, player rotation, and team communication Work closely with club leadership to help shape and execute seasonal plans, player evaluations, and long-term development goals Supervise and mentor assistant coaches Serve as a key point of contact for parents and players, communicating regularly and professionally Attend club meetings, training events, and coach education opportunities Maintain compliance with all league, safety, and club policies Qualifications Previous soccer playing or coaching experience required Positive attitude and ability to work well with youth players Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to undergo background check and complete youth safety training Availability on weekday evenings and some weekends (practice and game schedules vary) Join us as we inspire the next generation of soccer players through skill development, teamwork, and a love for the game!
