Job Description

We are seeking our next Part-Time Gymnastics Assistant Coach who will be all-in on our mission and who will teach alongside the Coach and provide instruction to the children enrolled in the gymnastics courses.
EDUCATION
:
Required:
Currently in High School or have attained High School Degree.
EXPERIENCE
:
Required:
Experience working with children.
Preferred:
Gymnastics/tumbling experience. Teaching/coaching experience. Train alongside a Coach to learn spotting techniques and how to lead a class. Assist Gymnastics Coach with all aspects of classroom management. Engage and be involved with students. Ensure safety at all times. Ensure cleanliness of all spaces where students are present. Answer phones, emails, and help with registration as needed. Participate in and complete performance assessments/evaluations as assigned. Perform other work-related duties as needed. Salary:
Amarillo College follows a lag pay strategy, with starting offers typically between the minimum and midpoint of the pay grade, rarely reaching the maximum to support long-term growth within each position. Pay grade 3 Amarillo College Pay Grades (salary is determined by Human Resources based on education, work experience and internal comparisons).
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to travel between offices and buildings, and requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull and/or maneuver office supplies as needed. Possess the ability to walk, bend, stand, squat or sit on the floor (with students). Be able to physically respond quickly in an emergency.
