Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Provide instruction and coach students to develop skills and ability to excel in sport assigned. Contribute to education program as a whole and growth of students involved in athletics.QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education/Certification:
AACCA Certification Preferred Currently hold or able to acquire CPR and First Aid certificationSpecial Knowledge/Skills:
Must have knowledge of assigned curriculum; knowledge of instructional methods Must have lesson planning and presentation skills Must have conflict resolution skills Must have classroom management and group interaction skills Technology skills preferred General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills In depth knowledge of tumbling and stunting skillWork Conditions:
Must be able to work in a variety of schools and with school staff, parents and students in training situations Must be able to work flexible hours at times Must be able to maintain emotional control in all situations Must be able to do medium work effort exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally Must be able to bend and stoop and reach fully above head Possess acute and/or corrected visual and hearing capabilities Possess good mental health in order to perform all job requirements Be average or better in energy, health and vitality Possess a high level of mental capability Regular attendance is an essential functionMinimum Experience:
