Responsibilities Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate gymnastics lessons that promote skill development, coordination, and confidence. Supervise children during classes, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed at all times. Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastics movements and equipment use. Manage class behavior with positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and address any concerns professionally. Maintain equipment safety, cleanliness, and organization before, during, and after classes. Lead warm-up exercises, stretching routines, and cool-down activities to prevent injuries. Skills Proven experience working with children in a sports or recreational setting, especially in gymnastics or similar physical activities. Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques, safety standards, and equipment handling. Background in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or sports-specific training instruction such as martial arts or climbing. Lifeguard experience with CPR/AED certification is a plus for emergency preparedness. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to lead teams confidently while demonstrating sportsmanship and positive leadership qualities. Experience in soccer coaching, basketball, or other team sports enhances your versatility as a coach. Familiarity with health club or gym environments is advantageous for understanding facility operations. Childcare experience combined with behavior management skills ensures a nurturing yet disciplined atmosphere.
