Job Description

Fort Worth Strong is hiring Semi-Private Personal Trainers / Strength Coaches to join our coaching team.
We currently have two openings:
Morning Coach:
Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-10:30 AM•
Evening Coach:
Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-6:30 PM•Rotating Saturdays (8:30-10:30 AM) are required These positions begin part-time with opportunities for expanded hours and advancement as our semi-private training program grows. What Is Semi-Private Training? This is not a group fitness instructor position. Our semi-private clients follow individualized strength-training programs while training alongside a small number of other clients. Your responsibility is to actively coach the room: teach exercises, provide technique feedback, select appropriate loads, modify exercises when necessary, manage session flow, and make sure every client receives individualized attention. We're looking for someone who can create the energy of a great training environment without sacrificing the quality and attention of personal training. What You'll Do Coach multiple clients simultaneously through individualized training programs Teach exercises and provide clear, effective coaching cues Monitor technique and make appropriate corrections Select loads and modify exercises based on individual needs Understand client goals, limitations, and current training needs Keep training sessions organized, efficient, and on schedule Build relationships with clients and contribute to client retention Maintain cleanliness and organization before, during, and after sessions Use Fort Worth Strong's coaching, scheduling, and client-management systems Communicate effectively with clients, other coaches, and leadership Participate in team meetings and ongoing coach development
Qualifications Required:
Personal training certification from a recognized organization OR bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively coach strength training Strong communication skills Ability to manage and engage multiple clients simultaneously Professional, dependable, and punctual Willingness to learn and operate within an established coaching system
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field 1+ year of professional coaching experience Experience coaching multiple clients simultaneously Experience working with adult strength-training clients CPR/AED certification Interest in developing coaching as a long-term career What We Provide Established clients Centralized programming systems and templates Scheduling and client-management software Paid onboarding and training Ongoing coaching education Career and coach mentorship Team meetings and professional development Career advancement opportunities Opportunity for expanded hours as the program grows How You'll Be Evaluated We believe great coaching includes everything that affects the client's experience. Arriving prepared and being ready to coach before sessions begin

Communicating clearly, promptly, and professionally with the Fort Worth Strong team
Schedule Morning Position Monday-Friday:
5:30-10:30
AM Saturday:
8:30-10:30 AM (Weekends Rotate) Approximately 15-25 hours/week
Evening Position Monday-Friday:
3:30 PM-6:30
PM Saturday:
8:30-10:30 AM (Weekends Rotate) Approximately 10-15 hours/week Please indicate whether you are applying for the Morning Coach or Evening Coach position.

Additional hours and increased responsibility as the program grows Who Will Do Well Here This role is a strong fit for a coach who enjoys actively coaching people and wants to be part of an organized, professional training environment. You don't need to build your own client base or create a business within our business. We provide the clients, programming infrastructure, systems, and development. We're looking for someone who takes pride in coaching well, showing up prepared, maintaining their environment, communicating with their team, and continually improving their craft. If you want to develop as a coach while helping us build a growing semi-private training program, we'd like to meet you.
Pay:
From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 25.0 per week
