Job Description

Full-Time Barbell Strength Coach Apprenticeship•A full-time position is approximately ~25 hours per week (MWF+Sat Mornings). Full-time benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, PTO, and etc. More details will be provided about the position during the interviews.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on advancement through the apprenticeship)

Read "
Starting Strength:
Basic Barbell Training, 3rd Edition" and " Practical Programming for Strength Training, 3rd Edition ."
Preferred:
Has coached lifters through the NLP or has done a NLP themselves.

About Starting Strength Gyms Our mission is to improve quality of life through effective strength training. We develop stronger, healthier, and more capable people by delivering expert coaching rooted in the Starting Strength Method. The Role As a coach at a Starting Strength Gym, your primary responsibility is providing a top-tier coaching and training experience. Lead Small Group Training Sessions Coach groups with a max of 1:9-10 coach-to-lifter ratio, providing individualized attention to ensure proper execution and appropriate progress. Design Personalized Programs Create tailored training programs using the Starting Strength Method, guaranteeing continuous, measurable strength gains. Foster a Supportive Environment Build camaraderie, rapport, and trust amongst members who are committed to their goals and value your expertise. Uphold Elite Standards Maintain the premium experience that sets Starting Strength Gyms apart through coaching, a commitment to excellence, and an ongoing desire for continuous improvement as a coach. Qualifications We are seeking an experienced coach that embodies: Technical Excellence An experienced coach of human movement that is motivated by helping others achieve their physical potential and to continuously improve their craft as a coach. Concierge Service An experienced service professional that gains satisfaction from anticipating and fulfilling the needs of others. Intellectual Capacity Able to clearly demonstrate mastery of technical concepts including understanding, implementation, and communicating with humility and curiosity.
