Basketball Coach You'll enhance the program by coaching, developing and training our student-athletes. The role of this position is to create a united front allowing for inclusion and diversity while working towards a common goal. As a genuine team-player, you'll work across our school divisions to improve team scores and competition placements within our GHAC league. Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 3.30 - 5pm training sessions plus a fixture schedule after school.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assume responsibility for constant care of equipment, uniforms, and facilities. Provide the Athletic Director with sufficient program information for all marketing, promotion, and historical tracking purposes. Ensure programs are compliant of all GHAC bylaws at all times
PLANNING AND PREPARATION
Maintains control of storage and use of school property. Evaluates each student's growth in physical skills. Knowledge and contribution in team sports. Cooperate with co-workers and staff. Relate positively to parents and community. Willingness to contribute to Elementary sports program in the off season.
PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Comply with The British International School of Houston policies and regulations. Follow Coaches handbook rules and regulations. Maintains control of storage and use of school property. Cooperate with co-workers and staff. Relate positively to parents and community.
ABOUT YOU
One or more years' of experience coaching in Basketball. Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures. Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
