Part-Time Pay:
[$17-$25 per hour, based on experience Lead Athletes. Develop Coaches. Build a Winning Program. Top Kids Gym & Sports (competing as Fire Power Gymnastics) are seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated Head Coach to lead our competitive artistic gymnastics and trampoline and tumbling (TNT) teams . This is a hands-on leadership position for someone passionate about athlete development, technical excellence, positive coaching, and building a strong team culture. The Head Coach will work directly with athletes while providing leadership, direction, and support to the rest of our competitive coaching staff. Our ideal candidate understands that successful athletes are developed through strong fundamentals, safe progressions, consistent expectations, positive motivation, and genuine care for each child. About Us Top Kids Gym & Sports is a family-owned youth fitness facility serving Keller, Southlake, and surrounding North Texas communities. We offer gymnastics, tumbling, ninja, camps, special events, and other programs that help children build strength, confidence, discipline, and character. Our competitive program, Fire Power Gymnastics, is committed to providing high-quality coaching in a safe, structured, supportive, and exciting environment. Our goal is to help athletes pursue excellence while continuing to love the sport and feel valued as individuals. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction for our competitive gymnastics and TNT programs. Coach athletes during practices, competitions, clinics, evaluations, and team events. Develop seasonal, weekly, and daily training plans. Create safe, technically sound skill progressions for athletes at different levels. Plan strength, flexibility, conditioning, routines, and competition preparation. Track athlete skills, goals, attendance, and overall progress. Evaluate athletes for placement, advancement, and team invitations. Prepare athletes to compete confidently, safely, and consistently. Establish clear expectations for athlete effort, conduct, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Lead, mentor, and support assistant and team coaches. Create consistency in coaching methods, terminology, spotting, and safety standards. Assist with recruiting, training, and evaluating coaching staff. Help plan meet schedules, athlete lineups, routines, and competition-day responsibilities. Attend required competitions, including events involving evenings, weekends, or travel. Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, coaches, judges, and management. Conduct parent meetings and athlete progress discussions when needed. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive training environment. Work with ownership and management to strengthen and grow the competitive program. Required Qualifications Competitive gymnastics and/or TNT coaching experience. Strong knowledge of skill progressions, conditioning, routine preparation, and competition readiness. Ability to safely teach and spot skills appropriate to assigned athletes and levels. Previous leadership experience as a head coach, team lead, program director, senior coach, or similar position. Ability to develop training plans and evaluate athlete progress. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead both athletes and adult coaching staff. Dependable, professional, and able to follow through consistently. Willingness to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and competition dates. Ability to pass required background checks and athlete-safety screenings. Current or obtainable CPR, AED, and First Aid certification. Current or obtainable memberships and safety certifications required by the program's governing organizations. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to competitions when required. Preferred Qualifications Experience coaching both artistic gymnastics, mens gymnastics and TNT. Experience managing or growing a competitive team program. Experience coaching athletes at multiple competitive levels. Knowledge of current competitive rules, mobility requirements, routine construction, and judging expectations. Experience mentoring and evaluating other coaches. Experience communicating with parents in a competitive youth-sports environment. Schedule and Compensation The schedule may include weekday afternoons and evenings, weekends, competitions, team camps, clinics, evaluations, meetings, and occasional travel. Compensation will be based on coaching experience, certifications, leadership background, and the overall scope of the position.
Pay Range:
