Trevinos Gymnastics School is seeking an energetic, dynamic, and highly motivated Artistic Gymnastics Team Coach to join our team! We are looking for a passionate coach who thrives in a competitive environment, enjoys developing athletes, and is committed to helping gymnasts reach their full potential both in and out of the gym. The ideal candidate is experienced in coaching USAG Compulsory through Optional levels and has knowledge and experience with the Excel Program . Key Responsibilities Coach competitive Artistic Gymnastics athletes from USAG Compulsory through Optional levels . Coach and develop athletes participating in the Excel Program . Plan and lead engaging, structured, and productive team practices. Develop athletes' skills, strength, flexibility, conditioning, and competitive routines. Provide appropriate progressions, drills, corrections, and spotting to safely advance athletes. Prepare gymnasts for competitions and help athletes achieve their individual and team goals. Evaluate athlete progress and communicate effectively with athletes and families. Maintain a positive, energetic, professional, and motivating coaching environment. Work collaboratively with other team coaches and gymnastics staff to maintain consistency throughout the program. Assist with choreography, routine development, skill progressions, and competition preparation as needed. Follow all gym safety policies, USAG guidelines, and athlete protection standards. Attend competitions on weekends as needed throughout the competitive season. Represent Trevinos Gymnastics School professionally at practices, competitions, and other team events. Required Qualifications Previous experience coaching competitive Artistic Gymnastics . Strong knowledge of USAG Compulsory and Optional levels . Experience coaching the Excel Program . Strong technical knowledge across all four events: Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor . Ability to effectively teach, spot, correct, and progress gymnastics skills safely. Strong communication, organization, leadership, and teamwork skills. Positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude. Ability to create an encouraging environment while maintaining appropriate expectations and accountability. Current safety certifications and background screening as required by applicable USAG and/or gym policies.
Pay:
$13.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
