Responsibilities Lead recreational gymnastics classes for children, ensuring activities are safe, inclusive, and fun Follow age-appropriate lesson plans that promote skill development and confidence-building Monitor participants' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement Maintain a safe environment by enforcing safety guidelines and proper use of equipment Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and behavior Assist with setting up and cleaning gymnastics equipment before and after classes Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior among participants Requirements Prior experience working with children in a coaching or childcare setting Knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals and sports-specific training instruction is strongly recommended. Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience with behavior management techniques to foster a respectful environment Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members Background in sports coaching such as soccer, basketball, climbing, martial arts (e.g., karate), or similar disciplines is desirable Ability to demonstrate leadership in team settings and motivate young learners Experience teaching physical education or working within health clubs or gyms is advantageous!
