Job Description

Padel Coach (Tennis & Racquet Sports Background) Wakit Rakit is a padel club in Spring, Texas, growing fast with plans to expand nationwide. We're looking for a high-energy, racquet-skilled coach to join our team. Former tennis players ready to make the jump to padel, the fastest-growing sport in the U.S., are especially encouraged to apply.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Padel Coach, you'll work with players of all levels, from first-timers to competitors, and help grow a padel community people love being part of. We'll train you in the Wakit Rakit coaching philosophy. You bring the experience, the energy, and the love for people.

We want someone who is genuinely happy to be here, who knows members by name, and who makes every player feel welcome. If you bring good vibes to the court and want to build something with us, we want to meet you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Deliver group and private coaching sessions for beginners through advanced players
  • Run clinics, junior programs, adult leagues, and social sessions
  • Get to know members, assess skill levels, and give clear, motivating feedback
  • Follow and help refine the Wakit Rakit coaching standards
  • Keep the club fun, inclusive, and high-energy, on and off the court
  • Help out with events and member experience
  • Be a professional, approachable face of the club
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 3+ years of coaching experience in padel, tennis, or another racquet sport (with solid padel knowledge)
  • Experience coaching players of different ages and skill levels
  • Great people skills and a natural, high-energy coaching style
  • Clear communication and a team-first attitude
  • Ability to run sessions that are structured and fun
  • A reliable, positive, professional attitude
NICE TO HAVE
  • Background in junior development or competitive player pathways
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Certifications in personal or strength training, yoga, pilates, mobility, sport psychology, nutrition, or similar Extra certifications aren't required, but we love to build them into our programming.
If you can lead a fitness class, a mobility session, or a mental game workshop, there's room for that here. A padel coaching certification is not required. We'll train you to our standards.
