Job Description

Make a real difference in a child's confidence and safety in the water. SwimLabs The Woodlands is hiring an energetic, dependable Swim Instructor. This is primarily an in-pool teaching role: you will spend the core of your shifts teaching structured swim lessons, building relationships with children and families, and helping swimmers reach meaningful milestones. Occasional front-desk coverage is part of being a great teammate—not the main job. On some days or during short coverage needs, you may welcome families, answer phones, help with basic scheduling or account questions in iClassPro, and keep the lobby running smoothly. We are looking first for someone who wants to teach and is also happy to step in when the team needs support. What you'll do Teach safe, engaging swim lessons using our proven curriculum Encourage swimmers of all ages and celebrate progress with families Maintain a positive, organized, and safety-focused pool-deck environment Communicate clearly with parents about each swimmer's lesson and progress Participate in training and learn our lesson standards Provide occasional front-desk coverage as needed: welcoming families, answering phones, and assisting with basic iClassPro questions What we're looking for Genuine enthusiasm for teaching children and helping people learn to swim Comfortable in the water and able to demonstrate skills clearly Reliable, upbeat, patient, and professional with children and families Strong communication and teamwork Swim-instructor experience is preferred; training is available for the right candidate Lifeguard and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain them before starting Required shifts
Monday-Wednesday:
3:00 PM-8:00
PM Saturday-Sunday:

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
