Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Tumbling Coach/Dance Instructor to inspire and develop young dancers' skills in tumbling, acrobatics, and dance techniques. This dynamic role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and guiding students of various ages through their dance journeys. As a vital part of our team, you will help students build confidence, improve their physical abilities, and cultivate a love for movement and performance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise in dance with your enthusiasm for teaching others. Duties Design and implement comprehensive tumbling and dance curricula tailored to different skill levels and age groups Lead engaging classes that focus on safety, technique, and artistic expression Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and teamwork Provide individualized coaching to help students improve their skills and achieve personal goals Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a fun and motivating atmosphere Organize performances or showcases to celebrate student progress and boost confidence Collaborate with parents, staff, and other instructors to ensure a cohesive learning experience Requirements Proven experience in tumbling, gymnastics, or dance instruction with a strong background in ballet, theater, or early childhood education Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Ability to work effectively with children and adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs including special education or preschool experience Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members Familiarity with photography or videography for documenting student progress is a plus Experience in behavior management and childhood development strategies Passion for dancing, teaching, and inspiring young performers to reach their full potential Join us to make a positive impact through movement!
